This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is and isn't allowed on the SuccessionStack platform. It supplements our Terms of Service — breach of this AUP is breach of those Terms.

You must not

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any underlying infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates privacy laws.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product or for benchmarking against competing services.
  • Upload or process personal data of individuals you are not authorized to handle under applicable privacy law.
  • Bypass usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate-limiting, authentication, or tenant-isolation mechanisms.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email security@successionstack.com before public disclosure. We do not take legal action against good-faith security research.

Consequences

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity. Where appropriate, we may also report incidents to law enforcement.
