Draft pending legal review

This document is a working draft. Final language is subject to attorney review prior to launch. Questions? Email legal@successionstack.com.

SuccessionStack is committed to making both the marketing website (successionstack.com) and the product application (app.successionstack.com) accessible to as many people as possible — including users of assistive technology.

Standard we target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across both surfaces. New features are tested against this standard during development, and the existing surface area is audited at least quarterly.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy.
  • Keyboard navigation across every interactive element.
  • Visible focus indicators that meet contrast requirements.
  • ARIA labels where the visual design alone is insufficient.
  • Descriptive alt text on product screenshots and meaningful imagery.
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
  • Color-contrast checks on every text/background pairing.

Known gaps

  • Some animated marketing elements (scroll-scrubbed screenshots) are reduced to static images when motion is reduced, but the underlying audit is ongoing.
  • The product app's data-visualization screens (org chart, 9-box grid) have keyboard navigation today but limited screen-reader narration of position; this is in active work.
